Description
Holoville is a tiny two-guys company based in Rome. After working many years in the creation of interactive stuff - especially for touchscreens - we decided that we wanted to make games. Because games are awesome, and we love them. Period.History
Early historyWe know each other since we were 13. After working separately for some years, we realized we were perfectly complementary, and founded Holoville. Initially, our main products were websites and interactive CDs. Later we would focus mainly on interactive touchscreen applications (for exhibitions and stuff like that), while developing games prototypes (mainly internally) with Flash.
On to the gamesIn 2011 we started using Unity, creating an interactive journey (with Paul Harden and Grazia Genovese) inside the lost Kircher museum. That was when we finally decided it was time to get doing what we loved most (comics apart): games. We made some quick prototype, and it was Space Rumble and then Journeyballs. We also made various prototypes and small games, and got to know some awesome people and collaborators.
